Streptococcus




Streptococcus is the bacteria that causes Strep Throat.  Strep throat causes swollen and painful throat, pus on tonsils, fever, and headache.  It is very contagious and spreads quickly.  It can be treated with Penicillin. Bellow is a video on Streptococcus:

Salmonella




Salmonella is the fancy term for food poisoning. Food poising is caused by the bacteria and causes abdominal cramping, diarrhea, vomiting, and fever in humans. Salmonella usually does not need to be treated but if it gets sever enough, the infected could be hospitalized. Below is a video on Salmonella:

Streptococcus pneumoniae



Is the bacteria that causes pneumonia. Pneumonia is when an the lungs get infected with Streptococcus pneumoniae. Anyone can be diagnosed with.  It can become very serious if not taken care of right away.  Below is a video on pneumonia:




Penicillium notatum

 Commonly known as Penicillin, is a antibiotic that was accidentally discovered in 1928 by Sir Alexander Fleming. He discovered that it was killing off other eubacteria that he was growing. Penicillin is used today to help cure bacteria infections.  Below is a video on Penicillin:

Did you know that Eubacteria kills tons of people every year, but it's is also used to produce foods we eat?   For example Streptococcus, the Eubacteria that causes Strep Throat, is classified in the Firmicutes phylum and so is the Eubacteria used to produce yogurt, Lactobacillus Bulgaricus.  
This is because each of the Eubacteria  is an
 individual organism was created to do
 different things.
